The Role:

The Role:

- Ownership and responsibility for the output of the financial reporting, management and Board reporting, Tax, Treasury, IT / systems and related projects.
- Cash flow reporting, working capital and supply chain management.
- Have the ability to generate insights from financial and operational data as opposed to just "reporting the numbers"
- Pro-active management of the team to engage, up skill, mentor and develop a high-performance culture.
- Process review and then development and implementation where required to ensure best practice is in place.
- Management of Bank and Audit relationships.
- System improvement and implementation where necessary across the function to ensure efficiency.
- M&A responsibilities - acquisition focused business looking to expand their footprint interstate.
- Ad hoc project work as required by the CEO and Board
The Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position will have a strong finance background with experience in:
- Integration/development of processes, systems and people
- Corporatisation of the finance function
- Experience working for a PE backed business
- Audit readiness.
- Technical finance - Big 4 preferable
- Commercial finance - partnering operations
- Lead various ad-hoc business projects
