Interim Chief Financial Officer

Our client, a leading manufacturing firm with a global presence, are seeking an experienced and motivated interim Chief Financial Officer to join their Senior Leadership Team (SLT). As the iCFO, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounting function and leading a team of accounting professionals. The Role:

You will make an impact by joining our clients Senior Leadership Team as the iCFO and have oversight and responsibility for all matters when it comes to the group Finance function. This is a unique and highly rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about enhancing their career, enjoys leading a team and takes pride in delivering high quality work. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business and take a lead role across Finance and Accounting.
 
This role has become available as a consequence of our client's successful growth agenda over the last 9 months. With recent acquisitions proving to be successful and contributing to an almost 100% increase in turnover the business is seeking to achieve exponential growth over the next 3 years. 
  
Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the accounting team (10+ team members) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements
• Prepare monthly financial statements and provide analysis and commentary on financial performance
• Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management
• Oversee the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting and analysis
• Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance
• Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team and assist with decision making
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders as required

The successful candidate:
  
In order to be considered for this role, you will meet the majority of the following criteria;

• CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• You will have previous experience as a CFO or Head of Finance
• Experience in manufacturing or a closely related industrial industry is highly desirable
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards and principles are a must have
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
