So, what's the role
As a full-time, on-site Intermediate/Senior Accountant at TTA, you'll play a pivotal role in managing a diverse client portfolio, from overseeing tax engagements to preparing financial reports. Working closely with SMEs, sporting clubs, community organisations, trades, wineries, family businesses, and individuals in the southern suburbs, this client-facing role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with a variety of businesses and organisations in our region. You'll utilise your skills across the full spectrum of accounting services, leveraging cloud-based software such as MYOB, Xero, Salesforce and Access.
Here's what you'll be up to on a typical day in the role:
- Manage and oversee tax engagements for a portfolio of clients, including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Manage other ATO requirements including BAS lodgements and PAYG.
- Prepare timely and accurate end of the month financial reports.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior tax accountants, offering expertise and fostering their professional development.
- Manage team workflow and client service standards.
- Identify business opportunities and be actively involved in business development and new proposals.

- Holds tertiary qualifications in Accounting, preferably CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion).
- Previous experience in the Accounting profession.
- Has experience in preparing BAS, financial statements, and income tax returns.
- Demonstrates computer and software literacy.
- Exhibits a client-service focus and embraces a team player mindset.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Is proficient with MYOB, Xero, and Excel to streamline work processes and deliver efficient solutions.
- Has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
