The Directors understand the need for developing the technical skills of staff so you can rest assured that you will continue to grow in the role and move towards a Senior Accountant position.
You will have plenty of client contact as they encourage staff to see clients and be the first point of call. With the desire to ensure junior staff are challenged, you will assist on the advisory work required for your clients and have the freedom to identify opportunities for those who may need value added work undertaken for them.
This decades old practice is led by experienced Directors who value a high level of integrity in their staff. They have a focus on reliable service to their multitude of clients that span industries but include specialities in the healthcare and agribusiness sectors. These businesses typically have turnovers in the $1-5m range but you will also get exposure to clients in the $10-15m range. They offer a one stop service with a financial planning arm that you will liaise with.
The role will see you undertaking a broad range of duties. In addition to compliance you will get involved with advising on issues such as strategic planning; cash flow management; tax advice; and accounting software solutions.
2 + years Business Services experience.
