About the Role
To support Draybi Accountants in its mission, we have a unique opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant whose primary responsibility will be to provide accounting and taxation services to our clients.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Prepare business activity statements
- Prepare financial reports
- Prepare tax returns (individual, company, trust and partnerships)
- Prepare PAYG payroll reports.
In doing so, you will liaise with our clients, and work in close collaboration with our other accounting staff.
The role is full-time role based in Parramatta.
About You
Specifically, as the ideal candidate for this role, you will meet the following Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications (or near completion) in Accounting or other relevant area of study
- 2-3 years’ experience in public practice
- Experience using MYOB and Xero
- Good Knowledge of preparing financials, tax returns, BAS, IAS and Payroll
- A self-starter who can work autonomously and with others in a team
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with various accounting software packages including MYOB and Xero
- Confident interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently
