AddressParamount Professional Tax & Accounting Service (PPTA Advisory) is seeking to recruit an intermediate business services accountant to join our team in a CPA accounting firm located in Sydney CBD.
Our firm was established in 2014 and is experiencing rapid growth recently. This newly created role will be responsible for providing taxation, auditing, and consulting services to our clients. In particular, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 years of experience gained in an Australian accounting practice
- Postgraduate degree in accounting from an Australian university
- Clear ability to communicate in English and Mandarin verbally and in writing
- Experience with Xero, MYOB, HandiSoft and Excel is essential
- A clear understanding of accounting standards and small business accounting issues
- Ability to prepare financial statements and tax returns independently
- Attention to details
- Passions in developing a career in public practice
- Sound knowledge of common tax issues, including CGT, Div 7a, etc.
- Right to work (Australian permanent residency or citizenship) is highly preferred
Remuneration:
Depends on experience and qualification, the suitable candidate will be provided with a remuneration package of $70,000+super
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with various clients in the development of overall accounting and taxation strategies
- Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for clients and liaise with related external parties include government agencies and authorities
- Monitor clients’ financial performance and assist them to maintain organisations’ healthy cash flow
