We are seeking a CA with strong tax preparation skills. You may currently work in a large firm, be bored as you are not receiving the diversity of work or access to the partners and clients you need to grow your skills. If you are looking for a new challenge we may be the firm for you. Ideally you would have had 3 plus years experience or may be looking to returning to the workforce after an absence.
You will be working closely with the partners managing your own client list which comprises a diverse and interesting base and includes high profile individuals and a broad range of businesses. You would be a key team player, happy to aid other staff and to work in a friendly office.
Ideally you would have a working knowledge of MYOB and Xero, strong computer skills and exposure to Handisoft or similar accounting package.
The position would suit someone who is well presented, with a practical knowledge of Australian taxation law.
Our team is motivated, fun with a good sense of humour who relate well to the clients. We work in a relaxed environment, “suiting up” when needed. We are office based.
Requirements for the role:
- Completion of an Australia recognised accounting/commerce or business degree (with good academic record in tax)
- CA or CPA qualified or currently enrolled in the programme.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound IT skills, especially in Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of MYOB and exposure to Handisoft or similar accounting software.
- Ability to work and learn in a team, have a sense of humour, and wish to contribute.
