An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work within our Tax & Accounting team in a full-time, permanent role, based on Greenhill Road.

About the Role
We are looking for a professional, motivated, and committed individual who is looking to build their career in a growing, vibrant financial organisation. Ideally you will be working toward or have completed a CA or CPA qualification. You will be working closely with the Directors and senior staff to provide compliance and accounting services to clients. You will be provided with technical and professional training which will assist your career development.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of a range of financial statements, tax and FBT returns in accordance with regulatory, accounting, and financial reporting standards across various industries
- Preparation of Business and Instalment Activity Statements
- Supporting team members with accounting and taxation consultancy requirements
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office
What you will need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:
- High level communication and interpersonal skills
- Great initiative and high-level problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Degree qualification in Accounting or Commerce
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including Australian Accounting Standards and Australian tax legislation
- A well-developed understanding of bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly accounting processes
- Experience with a range of accounting software packages
- Have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Be willing to learn and develop both professionally and personally.
