What you’ll be doing
Manager – Accounting & Tax, this role will be:
- Preparing statutory financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and Fixed Asset Register
- Reviewing, maintaining and updating financial records, including general ledger accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
- Analyzing financial data and reports on financial performance, trends, and variance
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, and monitor and implementing process improvements
- Supporting the preparation of the Group’s monthly to year-end financial reports, including assisting financial statement and note preparation
- Testing and maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls for Group accounting
- Liaising with and management of external auditors
What you’ll need
- Accounting degree or equivalent
- Hold CPA or CA membership or be actively working towards qualification
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people both internal and external
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting practices and principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both English and Korean
- Proficient computer skills – MS office (excel) and SAP
- Ability to prioritize and handle a varied workload time-effectively and to a high standard
