We are a for-profit company specialising in the Disability Sector and are looking to grow our Finance team.
This Exciting Role
We need someone who understands the ins and outs of accounting, can generate accurate financial reports, and has a knack for financial analysis.
Core objectives include:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analysing financial statements.
- General Ledger Management: Keep our accounting records up to date, handle journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
- Microsoft Business Central experience is a must.
- Fixed Asset Management: Reconciling of the fixed assets including property assets, depreciation and amortisation including insurance.
- Payroll Support (preferred but not required): Oversight of payroll processing and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- NDIS Experience (preferred but not required): Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) would be a bonus.
- Help prepare and submit statutory returns, making sure we meet all the deadlines.
- Process Improvement: Constantly review our accounting processes, find ways to make them more efficient, and implement best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with different teams, sharing your financial expertise and providing guidance.
About You
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others. We're a friendly bunch, and we value teamwork.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, practices, and systems.
- Experience in payroll and/or NDIS would be a plus but is not mandatory.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Keypay would be a plus but is not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills to dig into the numbers, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
