My client is a boutique accounting firm based in the heart of Chatswood. This is an great opportunity for an accountant to join a collaborative team working on high quality clients.
In this role you will gain hands-on experience with clients and receive plenty of development opportunities to grow in your role. You will be mentored by a passionate Manager - who is heavily invested in your professional development. In return you will have access to an open-door policy and a friendly and relaxed working environment.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparing annual financial statements and tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, SMEs and groups.
• Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Preparing bookkeeping work and month-end reporting
• Assisting Managers and the Director to provide clients with proactive, timely and accurate services
• Communicating with clients and other relevant stakeholders

The suitable candidate will possess:

• A Degree in Accounting
• Commencing CA or CPA, currently studying or qualified
• Very strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Be ambitious, organised and have great time management skills
• At least 3 years' accounting experience in public practice
