THE ROLE
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Accountant to join our growing, dynamic office, primarily based in East Maitland. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Advising and working on taxation and business related matters directly with clients;
- Preparing financial accounts (companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders);
- Income tax returns;
- BAS and IAS; and
- Face-to-face appointments with clients

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
We will provide training on our existing processes, however, the applicant requires:
- Accounting qualifications;
- CA or CPA qualification, or be in the process of completing post-graduate studies;
- Have a client service focus and proven track record of client advising;
- Experience in face-to-face client appointments would be highly advantageous;
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite;
- Experience with various accounting software, such as MYOB & Xero;
- Ability to meet time frames with proven attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- 2+ years professional experience in a public practice;
