About the Role
As a core member of the Group Audit team, this role will see you responsible for performing audit assignments and engaging with senior stakeholders across the business to provide assurance that controls are operating effectively to help manage risk across the ABC.
Acting as a trusted business advisor, you will also help the organisation identify opportunities for improvement aligned with the overall strategic objectives established in the Five-Year Plan.
Working closely with the Head of Group Audit and other team members, you will play a key role in preparing impactful reports for Management and the Audit & Risk Committee. The role provides a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across the ABC, to help drive a focus on continuous improvement.
About You
You are a pragmatic and agile thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, an enquiring mind, and the ability to articulate challenging or complex ideas in a clear manner. With your excellent interpersonal skills, you can build strong, authentic relationships with stakeholders. You enjoy working in a team where you can make a valuable contribution, and you demonstrate the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical conduct.
You have prior experience in a similar internal audit role in another organisation, or you may have worked in a professional services environment. The successful candidate will also possess a high level of technology literacy, including the ability to add valuable insights through data analysis and your understanding of technology.
