Their mission is to identify an experienced Internal Communications and Engagement Consultant who will design and execute internal communication strategies. These strategies aim to highlight the capabilities and expertise of the corporation's workforce while reinforcing their reputation as an employer of choice.

What is expected of you and what you'll need to succeed?
- Actively align, support and promote the corporation's values and support building a constructive workplace culture that celebrates achievement through its people.
- Carry out duties in accordance with the corporation's safety and environmental policies and procedures, working towards our goal of zero harm.
- Ensure all activities undertaken as their employees comply with the corporation's code of conduct, management standards and procedures, relevant acts, legal demands and that you manage all of your activities and responsibilities within their risk management framework.
- Proven high level written and verbal communication and Engagement skills to present detailed and complex information in plain English.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current trends of communications to drive and influence change.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with demonstrated experience working with stakeholders at all levels and from diverse cultures on confidential and sensitive issues.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and work under pressure in a dynamic operating environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications, public relations or extensive experience in these fields.
- An understanding of the corporation's business environment and the issues facing the utilities industry in the Northern Territory.
- Previous experience delivering Internal Communications and employee engagement to influence change.
- Demonstrated the ability to deliver communications strategies to drive cultural change.
- The ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders across the organisations and externally in a courteous and professional manner.
- Experience working within a team environment with a commitment to collaboration and shared outcomes.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing communications strategies within approved budget and resourcing frameworks that meet the needs of diverse stakeholder groups across the organisation.
- Experience working in a strategic communications role in the utilities sector will be a plus.
