Professional | Full-Time | EngineeringVestas Australia is thrilled to present a new opening in the Power Plant Solutions Department. We are seeking an Assistant Lead Engineer for Plant Performance to manage the technical facets of Wind Farms' Power and Acoustics performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to applicable standards, regulations, and contractual warranties.In the role of a performance engineer, your responsibility will encompass the designated project performance scope, under the supervision of the Head of Plant Performance APAC.You will collaborate with a team of amiable and similarly driven performance engineers to monitor and manage the Plant Performance across all Vestas projects within the APAC region.Power Solutions

Power Plant Solutions APACResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Plant Performance aspect for the assigned projects end-to-end.
  • Preparing RFQs to engage contractors and consultants for their respective scopes.
  • Running internal analysis to validate the performance of the assets.
  • Review designs and technical reports related to the performance scope.
  • Provide technical expertise to internal & external stakeholders in relation to the performance scope.
  • Liaise with other teams and SMEs within Vestas locally and globally as needed.
  • Managing and improving the current tools and processes available and promoting such improvements globally within Vestas.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in engineering or renewables.
  • 3+ years' experience in similar field.
  • Experience in wind and/or other renewable industries is preferred.
Competencies:
  • Renewables assets operation, testing or performance experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (Required).
  • Intermediate SQL skills (Preferred).
  • Basic Python skills (Desired)
