The Internal Communications Coordinator also collaborates with various departments, stakeholders, and teams to ensure consistent and effective communication practices throughout the region. - Implement internal communication strategies that align with Marsh McLennan’s purpose, vision and priorities. This includes identifying target audiences, crafting key messages, and distributing communications via appropriate channels to convey information effectively.
- Create engaging and informative content for internal communication materials such as weekly newsletters, intranet content, emails, and social channels. Ensure content is clear, consistent, and aligned with Marsh McLennan’s values and culture.
- Gather and analyse data related to internal communication efforts, including colleague feedback, engagement metrics, and communication channel effectiveness. Use this data to recommend improvements in communication strategies.
- Develop and execute initiatives to enhance colleague engagement and promote a positive workplace culture. This may include organising events, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to gauge colleague satisfaction and gather input for communication improvements
- 1 + years’ experience in an internal communication role with strong writing and editing skills, and demonstrated ability to convey (in writing) complex information in clear and understandable formats to a wide range of audiences with differing levels of understanding.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including experience with email marketing software, intranet systems, social media platforms, and other collaboration tools.
- Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to establish rapport, and collaborate effectively.
- Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills, where you can deliver to tight deadlines while managing conflicting priorities
- Passion for writing and storytelling, and ambition to build a career in Internal Communication
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced global environment; open to new ideas and able to navigate through ambiguity and uncertainty
