About the opportunity:

The Internal Communications Lead is responsible for the development, design and delivery of internal communication to inform and engage employees, ensuring consistency of internal and external messages.

Provide expert advice on the effective use of internal communication channels and implement internal engagement initiatives to support the delivery of projects and change management throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an Internal Communications plan in conjunction with relevant stakeholders
• Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to relevant employees and stakeholders and ensure internal and external messages are aligned
• Support communication of the employee experience initiatives and internal branding activities in conjunction with People & Culture
• Curate and develop content that is compelling and relevant and grounded in stakeholder understanding and insights aligned to RSM culture and branding
• Develop and drive an ongoing plan to ensure effective utilisation of internal communication tools, including Teams and internal platforms that encourages cross-organisational communications and collaboration
• Coordinate significant updates for Corporate Services
• Manage delivery of quarterly staff newsletter
• Coordinate and draft staff presentations and communications for the Chief Executive Partner
• Support and maintain the firm’s Economist in developing a page on the internal platform for regular economic thought leadership
• Support change management around new projects
• Research best practice communication channels and recommend and develop innovative solutions to communication challenges
• Measure, analyse and report on effectiveness of communication plans and deliver recommendations to stakeholders
• Ensure consistency and adherence to global brand and work closely with key contacts across Corporate Services
• Other duties as required from time to time.

About you:

• Relevant Tertiary qualification – Communications, PR, Journalism or Marketing
• 3-4 years’ experience in communications, with Internal Communications being a key responsibility
• Good internal stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritise effectively amid competing demands on your time
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make content engaging and accessible to a wide variety of culturally and geographically diverse colleagues
• An aptitude for basic graphic design and layout work for web, video, newsletters and other visual media
• Previous experience with CMS platforms
• Understanding of professional services and a multi stakeholder environment would be preferred
