Our Business
City Projects Office (CPO) delivers Council’s projects and programs through effective project ownership, management, community and stakeholder engagement, planning and design. CPO incorporates both design and project management services. We create and manage infrastructure projects, community assets and environmental development for Brisbane as well as delivering innovative solutions for natural and built environments.
Our Branch
The Major Projects team works in partnership with areas across Council and industry to provide world-class infrastructure that enhances Brisbane’s lifestyle for its residents. ​​​​​​​These projects are critical for the growth and development of Brisbane and have complex engagements, negotiations, design and construction programs. Every day we work to deliver infrastructure that helps to shape our city.
The Role
The role of the Program Integration Manager is to lead and manage the Brisbane Metro PROGRAM INTEGRATION to support successful transition into operations. The role includes:
management of the Brisbane Metro Vehicle delivery contract
readiness activities for Brisbane Metro operations
communications and stakeholder engagement
management of the Brisbane Metro systems delivery
integration of Brisbane Metro deliverables into operations by Transport for Brisbane.
The role will work closely with key stakeholders within Brisbane City Council, State and Federal Government, technical consultants, contractors and service providers, to deliver the works in a collaborative and cooperative manner, to support subsequent construction activities and to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Brisbane Metro Project.
To be successful you will have:
extensive experience in the development and delivery of complex major projects or major fleet supply that demonstrates value for money and ‘fit for purpose’ requirements are met
experience of successfully managing major transport systems contracts including testing and commissioning and integration into operation
high level negotiation, consultation and relationship management skills together with written and oral communication skills and the demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
a proven ability to lead, manage and participate in multidisciplinary project
substantial experience in providing strategic advice, business acumen, financial and risk management and program / project reporting skills.
