AddressAustain Fasteners Pty Ltd is the largest privately owned Stainless Steel Fastener specialist in Australia, supplying bolts, nuts, screws to a diverse range of clients, market leaders and projects across Australia.
We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated InternalSales Person with a passion for providing first-rate customer service to join the Austain team at our Dandenong, Victoria location.
The successful applicant will play an important role working alongside our sales team and the State Sales Manager to coordinate and process orders with our existing customer base and drive the future success of the company by attracting new customers and pursuing product and market opportunities.
Duties Include:
- Managing and processing customer orders, quotations and inquiries
- Providing product support and advising customers on product solutions
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and budgets
- Assisting with office and warehouse tasks, documentation and housekeeping
- Pursuing new product, customer and market opportunities to drive branch growth and company success
- Supporting our warehouse team by assisting with picking, packing and checking of orders from time to time

The successful applicant will:
- Be self motivated, enthusiastic and have a strong desire to succeed in this role and demonstrate their sales abilities
- Perform well under pressure and possess the ability to manage multiple orders, customers and priorities
- Have great communication skills including excellent proficiency in English language speaking, reading and writing
- Have good telephone, email and computer skills
- Use initiative and teamwork to overcome daily challenges
- Contribute to our team culture and long term company growth and success
Applicants with proven experience in the Fasteners or Engineering Supplies industries will receive favourable consideration.
