Internal Sales Engineer

Are you an experienced and ambitious individual with a passion for inbound sales? We have an opportunity at our office in VIC branch for a proactive Internal Sales Engineer to join our dynamic National Sales team.  

The role:

As our Internal Sales Engineer, you will work to actively to provide a consistent level of client support and engage customer prospects; and contribute to the ongoing success of the business. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of top-notch customer service. 

Key Responsibilities will include: 

Customer Service

• Develops and maintains strong customer relationships.
• Handles telephone sales and technical enquiries.

Technical Support

• Sourcing & expediting products from suppliers.
• Perform pump sizing, selection and spares parts as per customer request.
• Provides accurate and competitive quotes for projects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the external sales team to develop efficient methods for handling issues with our focus customers.
• Maintain adequate company and product knowledge to provide swift and proficient service.

Skills and Qualifications required:

• 3+ years’ experience in sales with a technical background within a relevant industry.
• Knowledge of pump types and selections will be advantageous.
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products (preferred).
• Solid computer skills (MS Office Suite). Whilst not essential, experience of using an ERP system would be advantageous.
• High attention to detail and good time management skills.
