AddressOur client is a diagnostic test-kit company with +30 years’ experience working across a wide range of industries: agriculture, aquarium, environmental, food & beverage, industrial and more. This role will focus on Internal Sales in the food & beverage space and will report to the External Sales & Account Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role and is ideal for a Food Science/ Microbiology graduate who is seeking a challenging, technical sales position.
Duties:
- Initially focusing on Internal Sales and working closely with account managers
- Become a key technical and application expert for the product range
- Understanding customer needs and requirements
- Liaise with customers to process orders and prepare quotes
- Manage phone and e-mail enquiries for new and existing customers
- General administrative duties
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science/ Microbiology or a related discipline
- Previous sales/ customer service experience would be highly regarded
- Prior knowledge of laboratory instrumentation/ testing would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to use initiative and prioritise tasks
