Step Into Your New Role
As a Martins BLS Internal Sales Representative, you'll:
- Connect with Customers: Process building and landscape materials sales orders and quotes for public, trade, and civil account holders over the phone and in person.
- Handle Transactions: Manage EFTPOS, cash payments, and tax invoices for account customers.
- Stay Organised: Check stock levels regularly and communicate with your team to ensure accurate delivery estimates.
- Innovative Sales: Through understanding your products, you'll assist customers by cross-selling/up-selling related products.
- Creative Displays: Thinking outside the box, you'll assist with showroom product displays, allowing for customer accessibility.
- Support Your Team: Occasionally assist the yard team and truck drivers with loading and general yard duties.
- Grow Your Expertise: Develop your knowledge in building materials, hardware, landscape materials and gardening supplies through hands-on experience.
Ideal candidates will have a background in sales or customer service within the building materials, hardware, landscape materials, or gardening supply industries. Your excellent communication skills, tech-savvy nature, and practical hands-on approach will set you apart. A forklift licence and/or loader competency would be handy but not essential.
