Internal Sales - Valves And Instrumentation

My client is a leading distributor of specialised Valves and Instrumentation products across AUS and Global markets. They are one of Australias leading suppliers of Valves, Switches, Transmitters, sensors and Instrumentation products and focus heavily within the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Mining and Petrochemical sectors. With constant year on year growth, the company is in a fantastic and strategic position to continue to grow the business and companies revenue Australia wide. Consisting of Internal Sales Reps, BDM’s/Major Account Managers, Sales Engineers and State and National Sales Managers, the company is well suited in every state to allow for quick and timely access to most of their clients or clients major projects.

The Role

This is not an entry level role but a position for an experienced professional looking to take a step into an external sales role.

My client is looking for an accomplished Internal Sales Professional within the Valve and Instrumentation industry who is wanting to join a leading distributor with the idea of stepping into a Major Account Manager role within the near future.

This role will see you learn the companies products and systems and once accomplished, you will progress into an external Major Account Manage role.

You will work closely with the State Manager to look after the companies large list of clients, providing technical information regarding their products and helping manage the accounts.

The companies office is located on the north side of Brisbane.

About You

• Minimum 2 years current experience working within the Valve and Instrumentation industry
• Experience dealing within either mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, water/waste water or other major industrial sectors
• Experienced with computer systems (Pronto experience is highly regarded)
• Looking to advance your sales career within Valves
