AddressFreedom Tyres are in need of a dynamic individual to join our sales team to work in our South Australian branch both in phone sales and to assist in the warehouse. You will join a highly motivated and professional team with a best in class customer service ethos. Our SA branch is located in Wingfield and services the entire state of SA. Previous tyre industry experience is preferred but not essential.
Primary Objective(s) of the Role:
To support and develop customer relationships, provide advice, technical assistance and sell, in a timely, effective, and efficient manner, so as to ensure the ongoing and future profitability and growth of the SA Branch.
Duties of the Role:
* Work in a small team environment to grow new sales in all wholesale tyre segments including Passenger, Light Truck, Truck, Bus, Industrial, and Earthmover.
* Work cooperatively with all Freedom personnel to achieve business development and strategic growth objectives for Freedom Tyres
* Make outbound proactive sales calls including cold calling new customers and onsite visitations as required
* Answering and assisting Freedom Tyres inbound phone customers as and when required
* Work with existing and new customers to develop, support, promote and sell all products across Freedom Tyre’s range.
* Assist in the warehouse with stock picking, freight consignments and container unpack and storage.
* Support inventory management and maintain rigorous stock control.
* Comply with all WH&S obligations, directions and legislation applicable to the undertaking and performance of this role
* Establish and maintain call cycle contact with appropriate personnel within the designated customer base / area
* Provide selected customers, plus local & regional Freedom personnel, with the required reports and/or feedback to ensure that customer and product support is maintained at the required levels.
* Arrange customer freight as and when required
Role Requirements:
Essential:
* Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated high level customer service skills and ethos
* Strong business development or sales background
* Ability to work autonomously and determine priorities in a fast paced environment
* Hold and maintain a valid and current Driver's License
Desirable:
* Tyre industry experience
* A valid and current forklift license
* Experience within a wholesale environment
* Sound computer skills (particularly in Microsoft Office applications)
