About the Role 

The Swinburne University Future Students team is looking for an International Admissions Officer to join their team.

The International Admissions Officer will play a key role in the admissions process as part of the designated team in International Admissions. This role involves managing the admissions procedures for international students at the University. The International Admissions Officer collaborates closely with International Recruitment and Admissions colleagues to maximise the enrolment rate from application to offer, acceptance, and enrolment stages.

Further information about this role can be found in the attached position description. There are three available positions – one full-time 10-month fixed-term position, and two full-time permanent roles. Applicants will be able to select which roles they are interested in when completing their application.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Previous demonstrated experience in, and in-depth knowledge of, International Admissions including entry requirements and selection requirements, and the processing of the advanced standing assessment. 
  • High level organisational skills, including strong attention to detail, the ability to follow-through on tasks and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to effectively use word processing, spreadsheet, and online admissions platforms
  • A demonstrated strong commitment to client service principles and the ability to be flexible and to anticipate and be responsive to client needs.

Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of a diploma and subsequent relevant work experience; or a combination of relevant experience and education training
