We seek an energised International Inquiries and Admissions Officer to join the International Services Office. This team is based in Melbourne and provides support for all three campuses.
The role comprises a mixture of responding to Inquiries and applications, converting applications to enrolments, issuing Certificates of Enrolment and other documents required for visa applications, and some off-campus marketing activities, so it's great for multi-taskers who can self-organise. The role will also provide support to the International Programs and Coordinator and Agency Relationships Manager, so there will be a real mixture of tasks.
You'll have a good mix of face-to-face, hide-at-your-desk, and sometimes get-on-a-plane days, and get to be a part of a creative college that's big enough to have great resources, but small enough to provide student support on a case-by-case basis.
Strong intercultural communication and customer service skills are essential. The candidate would ideally have demonstrated administration and sales experience, preferably in international student recruitment. A background in education administration and sales, with knowledge of international student visa conditions and processes, is highly desirable. Some experience in marketing or communications is preferred. A demonstrated interest in the creative industries/arts will make you stand out.
The position is based in South Melbourne and may require domestic and international travel. Availability on weekends may be required.
