About the role:
The positions are responsible for processing all international student applications, as well as contributing to the improvement of business processes within the International Admissions Unit.
An example of duties you may perform will include:
- In accordance with set procedures, evaluate, process and track international student applications in order to maximise student enrolments
- Accurately assess international student applications for admission into courses to Victoria University, against set entrance criteria
- Provide factual and accurate information, as appropriate to internal and external stakeholders regarding international admissions
This is a part-time position at a HEP5 $71,012 - $81,568 +17% superannuation, classification part time 3 days (22.05 hours) per week over a fixed term contract period (until March 2025).
About you:
Successful applicants will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline or have significant previous administrative experience in a related field.
Admissions Officers work proactively in a small, busy team within tight timeframes. It is necessary that you possess excellent teamwork and organisational skills. The ability to demonstrate effective analytical and problem-solving skills is also required.
