Job Purpose

The International Admissions Officer plays a crucial role in facilitating the enrolment process for students seeking English language education at BROWNS English Language School. The primary focus includes managing admissions for English language courses and guiding students through applications to pathway programs such as to High Schools and Tertiary education providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end international student admissions process, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Review and evaluate international student applications for compliance with admission requirements.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of the ESOS Act and the National Code to ensure all processes align with regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about updates and changes in legislation related to international student admissions.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of international student applications, admissions decisions, and related correspondence.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for international students during the admissions process, providing clear and accurate information regarding application requirements, timelines, and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for admitted international students.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and changes in international education policies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to international student admissions and compliance.

Qualifications and experience:

• Extensive experience in international student admissions
• Thorough knowledge of the ESOS Act and National Code.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
