International Freight Forwarding - Operations Specialist

The Role:

• Managing Import and/or Export shipments from start to finish
• Working with all stakeholders including our clients
• Telephone, message and email communication management in high volume, day to day
• Utilising software to update shipments and communicate with stakeholders
• Working with Agents, globally, to operate shipments
• Invoicing
• Prepare shipping documentation
• Sales quotation preparation and follow up
• Service with a smile

You:

• Are preferably “Cargowise” software experienced
• Have a minimum 2 year International Freight Forwarding or similar International Freight background experience from working in Australia that falls within the last 4 years
• Currently permanently reside in Australia with correct work rights/visas etc.
• Are of pleasant character and have effective, clear communication in both verbal and written manner
• Love problem solving
• Always want to learn more
• Have a “nothing-is-too-hard” attitude
• Are a team player
• Tenacious
