We are seeking an experienced International Recruitment Specialist to join our internal recruitment team who will lead our global talent recruitment efforts. As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in sourcing and acquiring top-tier talent from diverse international landscapes.

The Position:
The International Recruitment Specialist will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring talent from diverse international markets. This individual will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand the unique requirements of each role, develop effective recruitment strategies, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of global recruitment trends, cultural nuances, and will be adept at utilising various sourcing channels to ensure a robust and diverse talent pool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and facilitation of International Recruitment initiatives, with a particular focus on Registered Nurses and Personal Care Assistants.
- Stay informed about global employment trends, legal requirements, and cultural considerations that may impact International Recruitment efforts.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand workforce needs and assist in the development of innovative and effective solutions to address difficult recruitment initiatives.
- In conjunction with hiring managers, oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including phone screening, interviewing, reference checking and offer management.
- Develop and execute strategies to proactively scout and recruit qualified Registered Nurses internationally, emphasising a focus on identifying overseas opportunities.
- Facilitate the seamless transition of recruited Registered Nurses by assisting them in securing Australian working visas and meeting the requirements for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Assist with PALM Scheme recruitment initiatives, following DEWR guidelines, to support Respect's residential aged care division.
- Support the mobilisation of new workers into Australia, including accommodation and transportation (where required) and document management.
- Collaborate with migration agents to navigate complex visa and work authorisation processes.
- Maintain Respect's internal visa worker records and the PALMIS, including deployment and visa expiry dates.
- Provide regular reports and insights on the international talent landscape.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and candidates.
- Assist management with pastoral care of all international workers.
- Ensure compliance with international hiring laws, regulations, and Respect policies.
- Support continuous improvement and attraction projects for international talent pipelines.
- Other associated duties as required.
Requirements
Essential:
- Coordination or administration experience supporting international labor initiatives.
- Previous experience with International Recruitment of Registered Nurses and/or the PALM scheme is highly regarded.
- High-level customer service and administration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
Desirable:
- Certificate/diploma or bachelor's degree in human resources, or similar.
- Experience in residential aged care.
