Respect is known for the great care we provide to our clients and the supportive and respectful working environment for our employees.

The Position:

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of global recruitment trends, cultural nuances, and will be adept at utilising various sourcing channels to ensure a robust and diverse talent pool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand workforce needs and assist in the development of innovative and effective solutions to address difficult recruitment initiatives.
  • In conjunction with hiring managers, oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes, including phone screening, interviewing, reference checking and offer management.
  • Develop and execute strategies to proactively scout and recruit qualified Registered Nurses internationally, emphasising a focus on identifying overseas opportunities.
  • Facilitate the seamless transition of recruited Registered Nurses by assisting them in securing Australian working visas and meeting the requirements for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Assist with PALM Scheme recruitment initiatives, following DEWR guidelines, to support Respect's residential aged care division.
  • Support the mobilisation of new workers into Australia, including accommodation and transportation (where required) and document management.
  • Collaborate with migration agents to navigate complex visa and work authorisation processes.
  • Maintain Respect's internal visa worker records and the PALMIS, including deployment and visa expiry dates.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on the international talent landscape.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and candidates.
  • Assist management with pastoral care of all international workers.
  • Ensure compliance with international hiring laws, regulations, and Respect policies.
  • Support continuous improvement and attraction projects for international talent pipelines.
  • Other associated duties as required.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Coordination or administration experience supporting international labor initiatives.
  • Previous experience with International Recruitment of Registered Nurses and/or the PALM scheme is highly regarded.
  • High-level customer service and administration skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).

Desirable:

  • Certificate/diploma or bachelor's degree in human resources, or similar.
  • Experience in residential aged care.

Benefits

Benefits we offer you:

  • Competitive salary and conditions of employment.
  • Pay incentives, including not-for-profit charitable salary packaging.
  • A collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • The opportunity to play a pivotal role in Respect's growth.
  • The satisfaction of contributing to the betterment of aged care services.
  • Long-term employment in a recession-proof sector.
  • Learning, development, and growth opportunities.
