About the role
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, you will contribute to the facilitation and delivery of Learning and Development programs within the hotel. As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will analyse training needs and develop a robust Training Strategy and Calendar aligned with Langham Hotels & Resorts goals.
The successful candidate for this role will have demonstrated success in effectively nurturing relationships, preferably in a similar position in service, events or hospitality.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and deliver our Learning and Development programs to meet employee development needs.
- Analyse the hotel training needs and develop a robust Training Strategy and Calendar to bring the Langham Hotels & Resorts goals to life.
- Be a true ambassador of our service culture and the company Vision, Mission, Values and be a key driver of our pursuit of excellence.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful, our ideal candidate will have either a background in Operations in a Luxury Hotel Environment and/or previous experience in Learning & Development role within a Luxury Service Environment.
Other key attributes we are looking for include:
- Experience in a Learning and Development role.
- Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent Presentation, communication, interpersonal, and Public Speaking Skills.
- Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality.
- Familiarity with luxury market trends and mindset.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology/Human Resources/Business or similar.
- Australian work rights.
