As our business expands, we are seeking a Trade Specialist responsible for managing and overseeing our trade operations. This role involves:
Management and Supervision:
- Managing, coordinating, guiding, and supervising our foreign trade activities.
- Ensuring the implementation of annual foreign trade objectives.
- Standardizing trade processes for efficiency and compliance.
Market Development:
- Developing international markets, gathering market intelligence, and understanding competitor dynamics.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with new clients.
Client Relations:
- Able to Maintain day-to-day foreign relations with clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Able to Manage all aspects of trade documentation and foreign exchange transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and competitor activity.
Work Location: Southeast Melbourne. The role includes independent office space, a 35-hour workweek, a relaxed working environment, and a competitive salary which is negotiable. An interview will be required.
Fluency in Chinese is highly advantageous due to our market focus on China.
