The OpportunityWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
Inventory and Purchasing Officer to help us drive operational excellence while ensuring customer satisfaction. As our business continues to grow, we need someone who can effectively manage purchasing cycles, support inventory management, and contribute to our sales growth initiatives. You will play a crucial role in aligning our purchasing and inventory processes with customer expectations and manufacturing requirements, while maximizing the benefits of our Thunderbird Customer Support Package for our customers.
The FitYou will be passionate about providing the best products and services to our customers and will enjoy working in a supportive environment where integrity, respect and continuous improvement are valued. To succeed in this role you will also have:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Able to manage purchasing cycles and vendor relationships to meet product demand and minimise backorders.
- Support inventory control efforts by conduction cycle counts, investigating variances and ensuring accurate stock management.
- Knowledge of MRP systems and supply chain processes is a plus.
