- Plan and execute supply of FG and raw materials, ensuring that all critical data indicators are reviewed as part of the process including but not limited to Pallet and or Order Multiple, Unit of Measure, Date (Lead-time) management and pricing.
- Manage Shipment Arrival Notices from Freight Forwarder and ensure WHS teams are given notice as to what is being delivered each week.
- Update and monitor Safety Stock for all Raw Materials and Packaging items for my assigned categories.
- Notify business areas if key information is incorrect or missing in SAP. i.e.:- BOMs, Demand, SOH Figures, UOM etc. etc.
- Monitor and analyse stocks levels and lead performance improvement relating to inventory and service improvement for your assigned categories.
- Maximise raw material efficiency.
- Identify issues that could impact the workflow and seek to improve/rectify them with minimal impact to business operations.
- Maintain highest level customer DIFOT by evaluating and recommending actions to improve on time in full performance to the customer.
- Attend weekly/monthly material planning meetings.
- Any other tasks and responsibilities that may arise due to business demands that falls within the scope of this role.
- Minimum of four (4) years of hands on experience in a Planning and Purchasing environment.
- Advanced data analysis and strong critical thinking and logic skills.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
- Experience in collaborating in an S&OP environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Possess APICS or similar professional certification.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised with strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
- Reading comprehension to understand technical and legal requirements.
- Ability to work on multiple projects or issues simultaneously.
