Inventory Controller

Farm Foods are a family-owned Australian company located in Breakwater, Geelong working with the likes of Coles, Woolworths and Aldi. 

Currently experiencing significant growth we are seeking a Inventory Controller to join our Warehousing team, assisting in supporting our operations through stock movement and inventory management across multiple sites in Breakwater. There are strong opportunities for internal progression as the business continues to grow. 

About the Role

Farm Foods Australia has multiple warehousing locations in Breakwater. This position oversees the running of those warehouses including the coordination and management of supplied of raw materials and other goods purchased by Farm Foods. This position is also responsible for the efficient management and recording of all intercompany transfers between sites.

Key responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to;

• Receiving orders and checking against stock and inventory records.
• Coordinating stock counts.
• Monitoring supplier performance and analysing discrepancies.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Planning and forecasting the ordering of inventory items such as stock, equipment and parts.
• Monitoring inventory levels and planning delivery schedules.
• Creating reports and analysing performance against key performance indicators.
• Investigating supplier options.
• Strong problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to collate and capture data in Oracle NetSuite or similar system.

Job Requirements 

• Forklift License 
• Medium Rigid License 
• 5 years in warehouse management and intercompany transfers.
• Proven experience in working in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High levels of time management and organizational skills.
• An ability to organize product movements and transfers.
• Ability to create and manage efficient and effective processes to optimise performance.
• Flexible attitude with ability to evolve with the business and work with others.
• Ability to develop longer term strategies and action plans to improve performance.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management and inventory management principles
