Position Title:Inventory Controller Maintenance - BAL PPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time Requisition ID: 29264We have an opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join our team at our Ballarat Prepared Foods site. You will be working as part of the Maintenance team, providing support to ensure optimal plant performance.About the RoleThe successful applicant will:
- Maintain the procurement activities for maintenance materials, spare parts and consumables.
- Ensure all procurement activities are performed within the guidelines and operating procedures of the company.
- Participate in cost reduction programs.
- Participate in development of new systems, procedures to streamline procurement activities.
- Actively participate and assist stakeholders in ensuring supplier compliance in all facets of supplier performance.
- Investigate supplier options.
- Create reports and analysing performance against key performance indicators.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Plan and forecast ordering of inventory items such as stock, equipment and parts.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor supplier performance and analysing discrepancies.
- Coordinate stock counts.
- Receive orders and checking against stock and inventory records.
- Background in Electrical/Maintenance components stores
- Current drivers license – is essential to this position
- Current forklift license – is essential to this position
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong computer skills – working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Experience in SAP & SRM systems would be an advantage.
- Good organisational skills – efficiently schedule time to ensure all work requirements meet specifications and timeframes.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Able to work unsupervised
- Excellent communication, report writing and problem solving skills.
