The role

The Investigations team is a highly skilled team, playing an important part in making Crown a welcoming place for our guests through maintaining a culture of care and excellence.

Reporting to the Head of Investigations, the Investigator is responsible for enquiring into various matters, both criminal and civil, as they occur within the company or as deemed necessary by management. As part of the Crown Investigations Team the department is the central contact point for Crown Perth for all Law Enforcement Agencies inquiries are integral to the role. The Investigator may also perform plain clothes surveillance on the gaming floor, as required by investigations, and provide an opportunity to potentially locate and identify excluded patrons and detect criminal activity.

This role is an integral part of Crown Resorts Investigations and will require outstanding attention to detail, strategic judgement, the utmost confidentiality, and professionalism.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into matters to conclusion, producing investigation reports as required
  • Identify and report organised crime links
  • Take comprehensive statements as required to assist with investigations
  • Facilitate enquiries from various LEA. Prioritise, act, and advise on these as required
  • Maintain compliance with relevant ICMs and reporting all matters to the Head of Investigations
  • Perform plain clothes/conduct targeted operations utilising surveillance duties on the gaming floor as required to identify excluded patrons, detect criminal activity, or assist LEA where required
  • Maintain strong relationships with key LEAs/personnel and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance and reporting obligations are met in relation to all matters pertaining to Regulatory bodies

About you

You’ll bring the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations, surveillance, and statement taking either within the Gaming Industry, Law Enforcement of other relevant fields
  • Demonstrated research and analysis skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • High level communication skills
Additional Information

This role requires

  • Minimum requirement of tertiary study in related field
  • Certificate III in Investigations
