The role
The Investigations team is a highly skilled team, playing an important part in making Crown a welcoming place for our guests through maintaining a culture of care and excellence.
Reporting to the Head of Investigations, the Senior Investigator is responsible for overseeing all serious investigations, intelligence, and staff probity related functions. This includes conducting and assisting the Head of Investigations with all complex investigations for internal human resource matters, all criminal and civil matters, identifying organised criminal links, providing intelligence driven assessments of patrons and guests, whilst ensuring compliance and reporting requirements in accordance with key Internal Control Measures.
This role is an integral part of Crown Resorts Investigations and will require outstanding attention to detail, strategic judgement, the utmost confidentiality, and professionalism. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct and assist with thorough investigations into all matters required by the Head of Investigations
- Identify and report organised crime links
- Take comprehensive statements as required to assist with investigations
- Oversee compliance with relevant ICMs and reporting all matters to the Head of Investigations
- Oversee all requests for Information from the Regulator and/or LEA’s
- Maintain strong relationships with key LEAs/personnel
- Ensure compliance and reporting obligations are met in relation to all matters pertaining to Regulatory bodies.
About you
You’ll bring the following:
- Experience in conducting investigations, either within the integrated resort industry, law enforcement, military or other relevant fields
- Demonstrated research and analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to oversee staff and work output
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- High level communication skills.
Additional Information
This role requires:
- Minimum requirement of tertiary study in related field
- Certificate IV in Investigations.
