Reporting to the Team Leader, Wage Theft, Inspectors conduct end-to-end intelligence driven investigations of alleged employee entitlement offences.
Our Inspectors are expected to be comprehensive investigators with a broad skill set, not only conducting investigations but also be operationally capable and prepared to undertake field operations including undertaking irregular travel within regional Victoria (including overnight stays).
Delivering best practice investigation outcomes using the powers of an Inspector is key to our investigative success. As is interpreting rights and responsibilities under the relevant laws and following the Wage Inspectorate's policies and procedures. Our Inspectors are empathetic and can listen to and acknowledge the problems of others, they understand that good communication and engagement with stakeholders is central to getting successful outcomes.
