Details: ECRS is seeking a highly motivated professional Investigator who will be instrumental in framing and implementing the review and investigation elements of the new regulatory framework for ACT Non-government Schools (NGS) under chapter 4 of the Education Act 2004.
The position requires working knowledge of school governance or expertise in investigating within a regulatory environment.
The success applicant will have direct contact with proprietors, principals, and staff of ACT non-government schools, and may have direct contact with parents of ACT non-government schools.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Certificate 4 or Diploma in Government Investigations (highly desirable), a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Prior to commencing in this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 will be required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to www.accesscanberra.act.gov.au
