Education and Care Regulation and Support ( ECRS) is seeking a highly motivated professional Senior Investigator who will be instrumental in framing and implementing the review and investigation elements of the new regulatory framework for ACT Non-government Schools (NGS) under chapter 4 of the Education Act 2004.
The position requires leadership and expertise in investigating within a regulatory environment. A strong knowledge of regulatory law is also desirable. In addition, experience in government, managing people and stakeholder engagement is critical for this position.
Eligibility/ Other Requirements- Diploma or Tertiary qualification in investigations, a relevant discipline or equivalent experience is desirable.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Prior to commencing in this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 will be required.
This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2024 with the possibility of permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
