How will I help?
Global Investment Services seek to provide unique and differentiated insights, expertise and investment opportunities for self-directed, high net worth, wholesale clients.
Reporting to the Head of South Region, as a Global Investment Services (GIS) Director you will join a high calibre expert team of Investment Specialists with a focus on supporting and advising HNW clients on their investment selection.
As a Director you will partner and collaborate with our private banking team, as well as stakeholders across other business units, driving a collaborative approach to acquire new clients across Westpac Group by presenting your technical expertise and generating a positive client experience.
Other day to day responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute client and prospect engagement plans to generate, close and replenish client opportunity pipelines
- Investment presentations to small and large groups of clients and stakeholders
- Drive strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve year on year growth
- Lead the engagement of clients at ongoing investment reviews
- Drive banker capability uplift through education, learning and development activities.

What do I need?
- Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Business or a related discipline
- Strong sales experience and track record of client engagement and management in financial markets/funds management/HNW segment.
- Investment expertise in asset classes across fixed income and/or Equities.
- Experience in the HNW client segment either within Private Banking or Private Wealth is desired.
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge and demonstrated implementation of compliance and risk management
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Exceptional literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
