A bit about the role

As Investment Director, you will play a lead role in delivering our Performance with Integrity ambition across OMD's clients. You will lead the creation of market leading ideas for our clients and will manage the executional interface with media owner partners. OMD offers a truly multi-disciplinary approach to media strategy, planning and buying with a diverse offering across communications strategy, media trading, social media strategy and management, branded content and sponsorship, digital planning and execution, research and insights, through to brand analytics and SEO.

• Work across all media channels and interact with OMD's Specialist Business Units to deliver high performance campaigns for our clients
• Be a driving force for the OMD Investment product now and into the future and you will
• Drive innovation and evolve process as required
• Manage contract deliverables and ensure teams are delivering on all accountability metrics
• Work with the National Investment Leadership to develop the OMD Investment product to meet the future agency needs
• Use expert knowledge and senior media relationships to uncover innovative insights & provide a point of view and thought leadership to the wider team
• Lead all annual negotiations for your clients in conjunction with senior team members including preparation of briefing material, negotiation strategies and analysis
• Ensure overall campaign delivery, manage client comms and support Investment Manager in developing action plans
• Work with senior investment members to own the auditing process and ensure that all data submitted to auditors is accurate and on time

About your skills and experience

• Strong negotiation skills along with demonstrated experience within media planning and buying across all channels including digital, TV and OOH
• Foresight to proactively seek out strategic trading opportunities that align with our client's strategic direction
• Ability to Consistently provide market landscape understanding to be known as an expert
• Experience managing and developing best in market processes and systems across the Trading team, including systems and tools driving automation
• Showcase strong POV and insights on relevant media and performance, direct to client within presentations or via regular communication
• Experience developing market presentations for clients to showcasing specialist Traders and build internal profile writing PR pieces
• Know how to lead conversations to bridging the gap between digital and traditional media investment
• In depth knowledge and of understanding of client's business including KPIs and accountability measures
• Experienced in all aspects of team leadership including performance management within a media trading environment preferably within large media agency
