Due to advanced merger activity, we are seeking an experiencedInvestment Research Consultant to drive complex merger project deliverable's and facilitate seamless asset allocation and migration in readiness for merger completion.
This is a fixed term contract for approx. 8 months. Location can be Melbourne or Sydney.
You will act as an investment subject matter expert, and liaison between executive, project and investment teams to maximise the effective and efficient implementation of the project deliverable's. Reporting to the Deputy CIO with a dotted line into the Senior Consultant, your expertise will be instrumental in driving the success of investment governance, strategy formulation, and portfolio construction project activity. Your primary focus will be on orchestrating asset allocation and migration strategies while creating robust financial models for Special Project Work-streams.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Lead and progress merger project work, focusing on asset allocation, portfolio construction and asset migration.
- Utilise Front Office Super experience and multi-asset class expertise to contribute to decision-making processes.
- Contribute to investment strategy development, portfolio construction and investment governance asset class construction work streams.
- Engage with stakeholders across various levels to ensure positive project outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders of each asset class to refine design, construction, and global impact assessment.
- Proven experience in investment management, preferably within superannuation and mergers.
- Multi-asset class experience, preferably within an asset manager or related field.
- Experience in investment strategy formulation, portfolio asset class construction and asset migration or on boarding.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Special Project Work-streams, engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional soft skills, including pragmatism, influential communication, and adept consulting abilities.
- Ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders and drive positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated track record of navigating complex investment governance and strategy challenges.
