About the Role
This is a full-time role based in Melbourne CBD. This role is responsible for providing the highest quality client service to investors, prospective investors, and financial professionals. The Investor Services team resolves issues and responds to client requests, develops and maintains relationships with clients through verbal and written communications and partners with teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound calls from investors, advisers and other financial professionals from Australia and New Zealand regarding account status (i.e. account balances, trade / maintenance history, etc.), fund operations, and information on our suite of products.
- Develop and nurture working relationships with external and internal stakeholders. This includes investors, advisers, and internal parties such as Portfolio Management, Sales and Distribution, Legal, Risk and Compliance and Investment Operations.
- Assist in the client onboarding process by ensuring relevant AML/KYC requirements are met.
- Client reporting, responding to written client inquiries, and assisting other teams within the organisation.
- Assist with oversight of outsourced registry provider.
- Manage the management rebate process to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
- Delivering cash flow reports to Portfolio Management.
- Assist in collating relevant information for Board reporting.
- Manage ad-hoc projects assigned by Team Leader.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Desire to learn asset management industry from ground up (some knowledge of industry and the administration of managed investment schemes will be highly regarded).
- Ability to successfully work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to interact as a team member and maintain a flexible attitude.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
