The opportunity
As a key member of the Payments team, the Investor Services Officer will primarily be responsible for processing redemptions utilising their technical expertise and demonstrable experience in a similar role in within the Superannuation and Insurance industry. In addition, the responsibilities of the Investor Services Officer include accurate and timely completion of several activities to provide a high level of services to internal and external clients.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in Super Wrap benefit payments, internal in-specie transfers and account closures
Demonstrated experience in Investment Wrap Withdrawals, 3rd party payments and account closures
Demonstrated experience in Super Wrap claims (Financial Hardship, DASP, Family Law Splits, Release on Compassionate Grounds, Salary Continuance)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills including obtaining and then sharing complex or technical information in an accessible manner. In addition, ability to listen with empathy and identify useful information for claims assessment;
Strong experience in managing multiple conflicting priorities;
Ability to identify key issues and proactively find solutions;
What you'll do:
Receive and handle inbound and outbound telephone calls and emails, in a professional, accurate and helpful manner;
Completion and Quality Control of administration tasks as required, accurately and timely ensuring service levels are met;
Provide a high level of service to internal stakeholders
Liaise professionally with all external parties and third-party providers, including clients, advisers, insurers, margin lenders, superannuation funds and employers;
Complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades, and for any other items that affect Service, Administration & Support.
Timely completion of ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your Team Leader, in keeping with your skills, experience and development;
