Form of work About the Opportunity Join our team as an Irrigation Field Service Technician in Longford and play a pivotal role in our Branch. As an Irrigation Service Technician, your days will vary. On any one day you could be welding poly pipelines, building a pump set, servicing an engine, changing sprinklers or diagnosing electrical faults, across rural Tasmanian locations. Trouble shooting and maintenance works on agriculture and commercial irrigation systems. Installing new irrigation systems for a variety of uses and applications. Commissioning (if required) of newly installed irrigation projects. Some travel will be required and is an integral part of the job. About You Experience in irrigation repair and maintenance/installations, or allied trades where skills and experience are readily transferable. Effective communication, time management and organisation skills. Exceptional problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports. Demonstrated safety first mindset and able to work well autonomously and as part of a team. Valid drivers licence and a desire to develop a career within the Water Dynamics business.
