IRRIGATION WAREHOUSE & RETAIL MANAGER

The Opportunity:
 
A full-time opportunity is available for a proven self-managed hands-on working Manager to perform a diverse range of warehousing and retail duties for Smart Water Irritech in Bundaberg.

The Duties:
 
The duties will be diverse across the site and will include:

• Receiving, dispatching and handling all stock.
• Accurately processing and recording all associated documentation.
• Maintaining the stock control system and service job cards.
• Regular stocktakes.
• Loading and unloading trucks including forklift operations.
• General store, yard and workshop duties.
• Front counter customer service and sales
• Field deliveries as required.

The Person Requirements:
 
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• Warehousing and stock control experience.
• Customer service, sales and phone skills.
• The ability to function well in a self-managed, autonomous work environment.
• Computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new programmes.
• Physical fitness with the ability to lift and handle stock.
• Current manual driver licence.

Although not essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following:

• Formal certificates or qualifications in Irrigation, Pumps, Warehousing or Logistics.
• Retail / sales experience.
• Experience in areas of Plumbing, Hardware or Irrigation.
• A current forklift licence (or the willingness to acquire quickly).
• A HR driver licence.
• A strong mechanical aptitude or background.
• A rural background.
