Our Company:
BJEI Australia was established in 2021 to build and operate a significant portfolio of clean energy projects across Australia. Sister company, BJCE Australia was formed in 2017, and currently has an operational 284MW clean energy portfolio.
Together, BJEI Australia and BJCE Australia have an interest in over 2GW of renewable energy generation and storage assets that are planned, under construction or in operation across three states, NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
BJEI Australia aims to build a 3GW portfolio of clean energy assets by 2025 and 6GW by 2030, with the intention of listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2024.
Since BJCE’s first investment in Australia in 2014, the Company has prioritised care and respect for the communities and environments where its projects are located.

About the Role:
Due to BJEI’s expansion in Australia’s renewable industry, we are looking for an IT Architect and Systems Manager to help develop, implement and maintain IT solutions, projects, and services for the business.
Your duties include but not limited to:
- Lead the implementation of a new ERP system.
- Working closely with our implementation partner to ensure the project is delivered within the agreed timeframes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure their business requirements are clearly understood and will be supported by the implementation of the ERP system.
- Develop an appropriate and cost-effective localised IT strategy that will support BJEI’s business strategy and create efficiencies within the workplace.
- Manage BJEI’s IT infrastructure and Systems including, but not limited to, networks, server platforms, storage, backup, security, applications, disaster recovery systems and end-user device management.
- Manage all relevant IT policies and procedures, including ensuring these policies are reviewed regularly and updated where necessary.
- Ensure all projects are developed, approved and delivered on time and on budget, in accordance with global IT standards, relevant policies and BJEI’s Risk appetite.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and innovate BJEI’s IT solutions to deliver greater efficiencies to the business and ensure they remain secure and protected at all times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, ensuring regular communication and alignment with business objectives and that the Company’s IT systems are fit for purpose.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to maximise value for the organisation.
Who we are looking for:
- Relevant experience in the IT sector, delivering IT resources, programmes and Systems with demonstrable success.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expertise in implementing and managing SAP, NetSuite or Dynamics 365.
- Knowledge, skills, and experience in:
- IT Architecture development
- Creation and delivery of an organisational wide IT Plan
- Delivery and management of IT for a Critical Infrastructure operation
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Candidates with an understanding of cybersecurity and privacy requirements will be considered favourably.
