Your new role

In this exciting and challenging new role, you will be:

• Providing guidance and support for networking Infrastructure and information management security.
• Planning, installing, maintaining, and continuously improving the IT infrastructure.
• Leading technical projects, managing vendors, and building relationships.
• Troubleshooting complex networking and security issues within an ITIL framework.
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure recovery procedures.
• Mitigating risks and ensuring the availability of IT infrastructure.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in your application, you will need:

• Tertiary qualification in an IT-related field with substantial experience in a medium-sized corporate environment.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and supporting diverse IT Infrastructure and systems in a large corporate environment, including servers, storage, backup, Active Directory, Azure, M365, Exchange, VMWare, SCCM, and Network and security technologies.
• Strong analytical and lateral thinking skills, ability to drive strategy, and implement innovations.
• Extensive experience in managing complex networking and security environments across multiple sites and cloud platforms, covering switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, IDS/IPS, VLANs, Routing, and VOIP.
• Proven expertise in planning, deploying, and maintaining networking infrastructure, identity management, and security solutions.
• Proficiency in incident and problem resolution within communications Infrastructure and security technologies, following ITIL processes in client-facing environments.
• A valid driver’s licence
